Title: CMII Co-Hosts “How To Get A Job In The Music Industry” Event with Panther Entertainment Group

On April 5, 2017, CMII along with the student organization PEG (Panther Entertainment Group) co-hosted a panel in the Launch GSU incubator space on “How To Get A Job In The Music Industry.” The panel included Neelam Thadhani (GM of DJ Drama’s Generation Now record label), Rebekah Baldwin (Kobalt Publishing), and DJ esudd (DJ/Producer/Artist Manager). With approximately 70 students in attendance for this event, we considered it very successful. Moreover, the event was originally scheduled for an hour; however, it ran into overtime, and with post networking activity, it clocked in at two hours plus. Both students and panelists were engaged and enlightened. I look forward to hosting multiple similar events in the CMII space next year.
