Dear Georgia State students, The U.S. Secretary of Education, in response to the CARES Act, recently notified colleges and universities that in the coming weeks financial resources will be made available to provide grants to students for expenses related to disruptions to their educations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Georgia State University is committed to doing everything in our power to help our students overcome academic and financial barriers on their paths to graduation. To this end, the university has both requested resources from the CARES Act and initiated a fundraising campaign to support our students during this difficult time.…
