Office of the President Colleagues, I am writing to update you regarding steps we are taking that impact university operations for the coming months and academic year. As you likely know, last week Georgia’s shelter-in-place order was lifted for the general population. In addition, the state directed the University System of Georgia to plan an annual budget containing 14 percent less funding from the State of Georgia beginning July 1.
